Nhanya Foundation is governed by a volunteer board. Our Responsible Persons are listed on the ACNC Charity Register.
How we are funded
Our work is funded by:
- fees from our fee-supported services, including NDIS-funded and private therapy and support coordination
- donations from the community
- grants.
Fees cover the cost of delivering those services, and any surplus is applied to our charitable purposes.
How funds are used
Donations and surplus from our fee-supported services fund our free community programs, including:
- Accommodation support and housing and homelessness resources
- Support for women and families
- Advocacy and service navigation
- Assertive outreach and stabilisation
- Youth strength and recovery workshops
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support
Annual reporting
As a registered charity, we report to the ACNC each year. Our first Annual Information Statement and financial report are due by 31 January 2027. Once lodged, they will be published on the ACNC Charity Register and linked here.
