Empowering Communities
Enriching Lives

Nhanya Foundation is a registered Australian charity supporting women, children, young people, people with disability and families facing hardship, housing instability, family violence and disadvantage.

We provide practical advocacy, accommodation pathways, disability and allied health support, alongside lifereadiness, outreach, capacity-building and employment pathway support — with a particular commitment to culturally and linguistically diverse communities and respectful support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Where Every
Voice Matters

We support people who may be experiencing hardship, isolation, unsafe or unstable housing, disability-related barriers or difficulty accessing services. Our work particularly focuses on women, children and young people, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, families and carers.

Programs That
Make a Difference

Our services and practical initiatives respond to barriers affecting wellbeing, safety and independence. They include advocacy, accommodation support, disability and allied health services, outreach support, lifereadiness, capacity building, employment pathways and activities that help children and young people build
confidence and connection.

Advocacy & Service Navigation

Help to understand options, organise referrals and navigate services.

Accommodation & Wellbeing

Practical support to explore housing pathways, tenancy matters and safer transitions.

Life Readiness & Community Pathways

Support with life skills, outreach, capacity building, employment readiness and community connection.

Creating an
Inclusive Future

At Nhanya, inclusion means making support easier to understand, culturally respectful and accessible. We work alongside individuals, families, communities and service partners so that people are not left to navigate hardship or complex systems alone.
